The OrangeRx series of receivers have always been at the forefront of receiver technology, the R820X version 3 is no exception.They feature a wide range of serial outputs which are suitable for many flight controllers, stabilizers and flybarless systems. They are also compatible with all DSM2/DSMX 2.4GHz air transmitters, the V3 takes things to the next level by offering true s.link compatibility, integrated telemetry and dual antenna diversity. Add to all this a programmable fail safe (can be done whilst binding or using the OrangeRx program card, see related items), ultra fast brown out recovery and wide input voltage you have a receiver that is unbeatable in value and versatility. The V3 also has improved antenna switching algorithms and a redesigned front end that extends the range to 2km or more and a telemetry range of over 400 metres.
The functionality of the V3 is excellent and can be used with multi rotor and aircraft flight controllers such as iNav, CleanFlight, BetaFlight, MultiWii and similar. The single line connections reduce the weight and the need for additional wires for individual connections which makes the installation easier and much neater. This system is perfect when used in small airframes where space is at a premium.
The functionality of the OrangeRx V3 series becomes even more advanced as it can be programmed using the OrangeRx Programming Card, this will allow you to configure additional features to your receiver. The programming card can be used wirelessly to configure:
• Serial output: CPPM, SBUS, Inverted SBUS, iBUS, xBUS RJ01, Spek2048.
• Failsafe Settings: No packets, On bind, All middle, Custom.
• Telemetry: On/Off.
• Autobind: 3 Timers for Autobind (30, 60, 90 secs), Autobind Off.
• Firmware: Upgradeable.
This receiver offers an integrated telemetry system that provides readings for the flight battery and receiver pack voltages, current, temperature and motor RPM. With this receiver you can always monitor all the critical parameters, it does not necessitate the use of a separate telemetry system. It also has as mentioned before dual diversity antennae and 2 fully functional satellite receiver ports which give unbeatable reception quality. Flight testing has demonstrated stable results and a solid reception that exceeds the range of other receivers in the same class.
All OrangeRx receivers are built using original components, 32 bit MCU's with state of the art SMT automation to ensure a quality product every time. Every single receiver is manufactured using impedence controlled PCB's with exact tuning to provide signal stability and range that exceeds any of the previous generation of ORX products. All OrangeRx receivers are QC tested using the most up to date methods, if any receiver cannot pass these tests at the production stage it cannot be programmed ensuring 100% of the completed receivers are guaranteed to work flawlessly. In fact all receivers are tested 3 times during the manufacturing and finishing process.
